Life is not supposed to be so heavy. You can take each day in stride. Find peace. Feel calm. Be still and find that good feeling in your gut. Find little gratitudes to find your way back to balance.
We race and race. We rush and get nowhere. We worry and fret over the littlest of things. We spend so much time up in our heads, preoccupied; and we lose touch with the moment.
It is in each moment that life hums – where life is alive, with space and freedom to feel and just be.
Life will continually spin out of control if we don't learn how to rein it in. It takes intentional effort to want to slow down and feel good. You must want it.
It takes just a moment to call upon spirit for help. It's difficult to shut out distraction. But with effort, you can ask for what you need; you can ask for Divine guidance. If you are willing to listen and believe . . . you will hear the voice of Truth.
For nothing in the material realm will guide you, for sure not intellect – for it knows not the right direction for your soul. The soul needs higher guidance, it needs to align rightly, on It's unique path – not along the path most travelled.
Consulting your heart can help you feel your way back on the right track. It happens by spending quiet moments in stillness, communing with nature, listening . . .
Today, tune out from the sensory world and take a little time to tune inwardly. Ask for Divine guidance. Speak honestly. Share your worries. Give them all up – make room, exchange them for Divine intervention.
A moment spent in worry is a moment wasted.
Life is too short. Real moments are the moments that we feel uncomfortable, that we share truth, where we risk discovering the truth of who we are. To grow we must tap into the fear, venture into the unknown, experience the painful stuff.
Why waste time living in disguise? There's never peace wearing a mask. This time around can be the one to shed the layers, to open up to the vulnerable, raw aspects of self.
It is in the storms that we find our strength, that we discover that we are designed to thrive. It is in those moments when everything seems upside down that we can find our way . . . to find meaning, clarity and purpose.
Only by risking, by being unafraid to fail, to face the imperfect parts of self that we grow, that we heal.
Why play it safe? Why be all about pretense? Who cares what anybody thinks? Too many of us are living life in untruth, choosing to perpetuate lies. We lie to protect our vulnerable self, to protect those we love, to maintain a certain perception. When we behave in order to mask, to veil truth, we live anxiously . . . we live with dis'ease.
Choosing not to live in denial. Choosing to want truth. Choosing pain – if only for a moment, allows the pain to pass so truth can re-surface. Why? Because it's in my best interest – it's in the best interest of all. It's the only way to live.
