A Message From August 2014,
Work needs flow, to flow with Earth's rhythm. Just as seasons change in natural rhythm and flow, work should flow in similar fashion. Purpose in life or dharma is discovering truth, finding joy and love in your work. Each of us is assigned with a purpose to fulfill while visiting Earth. Discovering passion requires some soul searching.
Don't listen to others. Search within. If you listen to others, you may echo or take on negative attitude towards work. By searching inwardly, you will discover the knowledge you need to unveil your passion, your love, to find your true work.
When you accept work as a calling, to embrace work with love and appreciation, to be grateful for work that comes from a greater or higher power, you can work joyfully, doing everything with the knowledge that you are working for God. Work no longer feels like “work” when you do so with love -- uniting with God and with all humanity.
Whether weaving clothes, building a house, sowing seeds -- as long as its done with love and with joy, it's not work. Breathe life into all you do and touch. Acknowledge those that have come before, call upon Angels, Saints of all religions. Take solace in knowing your ancestors watch on with great pride and joy, always eager to assist from the other side.
Work always for God, to serve others. Work with love, with joy in your heart. In this way work is not work but love made visible. Love can be made visible for everyone to see. When you work to help others, it comes back to you, making you happy. True work or dutiful service reenergizes and enlivens the soul.
Colossians 3:23
