Please lend guidance to our generation. May we receive Your Presence, Your Power, Your Graciousness, Your Kindness, Your Omnipotence, Your Omniscience, Your Omnipresence – so that we may be courageous enough to dig deeply inside ourselves and find Your Voice. Please allow us to feel Your kindness and love so that we may forgive ourselves and enable ourselves to share Your kindness, love, and forgiveness with others. May we be able to live in harmony, in peace, in joyful delight of Your gifts, starting first with the gift of Your Presence. For Your Presence may only be felt in the moment – God's joy may only be savored in the moment.
The past is past, the future far away. May we live today and capture our power, grasp our creative ability, nurture ourselves in ways that allow us to grow, love, and live with peace in our hearts. With God consciousness we may see the past as a gift of bringing us to now so that we may be grateful and excited about our future.
Earthly life entangles us in its web of duality if we are not aware. Without God consciousness, we get caught in a web that keeps us looking outside of ourselves for help. Unaware of our inner world, a powerful world that holds all we need, we remain helpless, unhappy, insecure, and addicted. Without trust, we feel trapped and without choice. Unable to dig deeply inside of ourselves, we choose to see only through our limited senses, engaging through a limited lens that keeps us feeling separate, divided, competing and lacking. Attached to fear and insecurity, we can only suffer for we know not how to unlock the courage, the strength, the creativity, and the love that lies within.
If we only realize that it's our love that God wants. If we could just recognize that our words, thoughts and actions can bring us harmony; bring us closer to God or they can keep us away from Him. We have free will or choice and it is the basic nature of consciousness. But consciousness is not about choosing right or wrong, for there is no right or wrong; only God. We may choose words, thoughts, and actions that bring us closer to God or keep us further away from Him. It's our choice.
Choosing begins by understanding the Yamas and the Niyamas (http://www.healthy.net/health/article/the_ten_living_principles_yamas_and_niyamas/2410) – the ten basic tenets of living (i.e. thou shall not steal, lie, cheat, love other idols before God and shall love thy neighbor) . . . Living mindfully of these tenets allows the spiritual path to unfold before us. With discipline, with God on our minds and in our hearts day and night, we can discover the straight road that will guide us along our way. The spiritual path will bring real joy, true bliss, and God realization that cannot be articulated in words. The spiritual path cannot be explained through textbooks, in religion, in politics, in theory, in debate or discussion . . . but can only be personally experienced first-hand in meditation – in loving communion with God. Once realized, this Truth drenches our minds, bodies, and souls with inexplicable bliss – energizing, revitalizing, and awakening us to the unity of humanity.
God realization reminds us that we are one. Seeing with an expanded lens where we are full of love allows us to see, think, act, and feel God's love everywhere. Seeing God everywhere permits us to experience God's Presence and to live here and now in heaven on earth. By creating this present-filled reality of God's presence, love can prevail and heal.
